ABOUT US
HELLO.. we are Andrew and Rebecca!
We met in 2008 through a church Bible study, where Andrew was the leader. We became good friends, then realized after a year that there was more meant for our relationship. We fell in love and were married in October of 2010. The adventure has never stopped!!
We both work as educators. Rebecca in a private school as an 8-12th grade art teacher, where she has worked for over 10 years. Andrew is in a public school, where he was a middle school science teacher for 5 years and now has been an elementary vice principal for 3 years. Both of us got our degrees in education at Arizona State. We believe in working with kids to ensure they are loved and given every opportunity possible to succeed. Nothing brings us more joy than knowing that kids we have relationships with will grow up to change the world, and that we got to help shape them into the amazing people they will grow up into.
As a couple, we love to travel, go to coffee shops, cook, visit museums, attend theater productions and concerts, participate in ministry opportunities, and be outdoors. Most importantly… we have FUN together!
We laugh and share everything with each other! We have been told many times how awesome it is we are best friends, who not only love each other, but like each other. We love doing life together!

Individually, Andrew is very involved in his Bible study, he bike rides, reads, loves music, fixes cars, runs, does projects around the house, and volunteers. Rebecca is very involved with her ministry of mentoring young ladies, Young Lives, art, fashion, concerts, interior design, and DIY projects.
We are extremely involved with family. We do multiple family trips a year to California, and hangout multiple times a week. We love how involved our family is with our lives and are so excited about us expanding our family through adoption!
We also are very involved with friends, most of whom we have been friends with since middle school, and many have adopted themselves. There is nothing better than a great community you know will be there your entire life!

Andrew is so excited to teach our children to ride a bike! He can NOT stop talking about it! He also wants to teach our children compassion and how to live life while doing ministry. Andrew is extremely intelligent and is looking forward to helping them learn to read, write, love books, and have an appreciation for learning. Andrew also wants to teach them how to play the piano. He learned when he was three years old and attests his intelligence to learning how to play the piano.
Rebecca is extremely excited to paint and do arts & crafts with her children. She remembers growing up and every summer working on different crafts, which she looks forward to passing on that tradition. She is also excited to teach them how to swim. Rebecca loves the water and finds swimming an enjoyable sport, especially in the hot summers. But most of all, Rebecca is looking forward to showing her children love, compassion, and grace; so they may one day pass it on to others.
As a couple, we have loved other peoples’ children so much, for so long, that we can not wait to finally get to love our own children. To travel with them, teach them to cook, listen to music together, teach them sports, to show them the difference between right and wrong, show them how to think for themselves, be independent, and show them how to love others.
